Position Overview
As a Lead Full Stack Developer at Vera Solutions, you won’t just be writing code; you’ll be at the forefront of creating a product with the potential to revolutionize how nonprofits interact with funders. This is a chance to apply your skills in RedwoodJS and React in a role that goes beyond the typical tech job by blending innovation with social impact.
We are open to hiring in countries that we operate in (India, South Africa, United Kingdom, Brazil, East Coast USA), however, we would love for you to spend your first year in Mumbai, getting to know our technology team and immersing yourself in a different culture.
Note: We are open to sponsoring a work visa and travel expenses for the right candidate.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Spearhead a vibrant team to develop an impactful RedwoodJS-based product.
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable web applications using RedwoodJS, React, and modern component libraries like Tailwind CSS and Mantine.
- Collaborate with a passionate team, including stakeholders in the social sector, to transform ideas into real-world solutions.
- Lead with a mix of technical expertise and creativity, continuously pushing the boundaries of what our technology can achieve in the social sphere.
- Ensure the highest standards of code quality and system reliability, while mentoring a team of dedicated developers.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Passionate about using technology as a force for good.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or similar, coupled with 4+ of full-stack development experience.
- Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, with a strong grasp of the RedwoodJS framework.
- Skilled in Tailwind CSS, Mantine, and other modern UI/UX frameworks.
- Proven leadership in tech project management – experience in the social sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and can articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
