Marketing Intern

Position Overview
The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team in the areas of market research, lead generation, and marketing collateral creation. The Intern will work closely with the content, branding, design, social media, and campaign management teams within the marketing department, to support strategic objectives.
You will gain valuable experience understanding nonprofit markets, audiences, and personas, create client-facing collateral, and collaborate with other internal teams across Vera Solutions. You will have the opportunity to engage in, and contribute to, internal learning sessions that are designed to develop professional and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research, develop and execute strategies to build segmented lead lists using online sources such as LinkedIn
- Write and develop an ebook or knowledge paper on a relevant industry topic
- Develop curated visual content to provide insights for the clients we serve
- Collaborate with the marketing team on new ideas, directions, and avenues for outreach
- Provide general support to the global marketing team
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Completed or working toward a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field
- Excellent written/verbal communication and relational skills
- Excellent computer skills with experience in the Google product suite and LinkedIn
- Strong research skills
- Self-motivated, strong organizational skills, and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Dependable, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated interest in social impact work
- Openness to learning and growing within the internship experience
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Preferred:
- Previous internship or related experience in marketing and communications
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or other graphic design programs/tools
- Experience with digital multimedia tools, including video, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, iMovie
Compensation & Benefits
A modest stipend will be provided to help offset cost of living and commuting expenses (if applicable).
Paid Time Off
PTO days are prorated in accordance with your internship agreement and includes local and company-wide holidays.
