Position Overview

Vera is seeking a curious and ambitious Intern to join our Systems team. As an intern, the person is expected to primarily focus on daily system admin tasks on our Salesforce and other systems such as User account maintenance, data maintenance, tool maintenance and documentation and assisting the team in smooth running of team operations. The person will assist in System access for team members across the globe and help in maintaining the systems. Collaboration and coordination will be key as this person will closely work with team members across the department to ensure milestones are met.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • User management: setting up user accounts, creating profiles, and providing access across various technology platforms (Salesforce, Jira, Gmail MS Suite, Zoom, etc.) and ways to manage them
  • Provide assistance to internal users with day-to-day use of Vera’s technology systems (Salesforce, Jira, Gmail, etc.)
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues/bugs and apply solutions
  • Participate in creating and implementing test suites and performing different types of testing
  • Collaborate with the team for release management tasks
  • Collaborate with the team for integration of the system with other third party tools
  • Manage and improve data quality, system integrity, and security by performing regular audits and clean up tasks
  • Create and maintain internal knowledge articles ie. Admin Guides, User Guides etc.
  • Proactively identify process or system improvements for various Vera’s systems
  • Compile reports summarizing research findings and presenting insights to the team
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution
  • Aid in task completions by assisting team members with any necessary support or resources

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:
  • Basic graduation in any field (no experience required)
  • Interest/exposure to Salesforce CRM
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

A modest stipend will be provided to help offset cost of living and commuting expenses (if applicable).

Paid Time Off

PTO days are prorated in accordance with your internship agreement and includes local and company-wide holidays.
