Position Overview
As a Lead Full Stack Developer at Vera Solutions, you won’t just be writing code; you’ll be at the forefront of creating a product with the potential to revolutionize how nonprofits interact with funders. The Lead Full Stack Developer will join a team of passionate individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, all dedicated to improving the way social impact organizations operate. Primary Responsibilities:
- Spearhead a vibrant team to develop an impactful RedwoodJS-based product.
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable web applications using RedwoodJS, React, and modern component libraries like Tailwind CSS and Mantine.
- Collaborate with a passionate team, including stakeholders in the social sector, to transform ideas into real-world solutions.
- Lead with a mix of technical expertise and creativity, continuously pushing the boundaries of what our technology can achieve in the social sphere.
- Ensure the highest standards of code quality and system reliability, while mentoring a team of dedicated developers.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or similar, coupled with 4+ of full-stack development experience.
- Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, with a strong background in MERN stack.
- Proven leadership in tech project management.
- A strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and can articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
- Experience working on RedwoodJS.
- Passionate about using technology as a force for good.
