Position Overview
Vera is seeking a curious and ambitious intern to join our Product team. As an intern, the person is expected to primarily focus on Product Analyst tasks such as data grouping and organizing, and utilizing the Power BI tool for accurate data processing.Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct data preparation (grouping, cleaning, and organizing data) for accurate processing in the visualization tools such as PBI
- Assisting the Product Manager in data analysis to derive insights that inform product decisions
- Preparing reports and presentations to communicate data insights and findings to Product Manager
- Updating and maintaining product manuals with analytical insights
- Completion of assigned tasks and provide regular updates on progress
- Support in organizing and documenting team meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent field (no experience required)
- Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to commit to a 1 year internship
Preferred:
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI and ability to create data connections to systems such as AWS and Azure
- Experience in programming frameworks such SQL, etc.
- Experience in statistical analysis through excel, SAS, etc.
Compensation & Benefits
A modest stipend will be provided to help offset cost of living and commuting expenses (if applicable).
Paid Time Off
PTO days are prorated in accordance with your internship agreement and includes local and company-wide holidays.
