As each year wraps up, we look forward to one of Vera’s significant events – the Recognition Awards. It’s a platform to acknowledge individuals who consistently demonstrate the company’s core values. Whether it’s through top-notch performance, partnering with our clients to achieve wins, creating a positive impact for our company, or contributing in various ways, these individuals play a vital role in making Vera a great place to work.
At Vera, recognition is about aligning achievements with the company’s values: Impact, Sustainability, Excellence, Teamwork, and Leadership. These values guide Vera’s mission to shape a social sector grounded in transparency and accountability.
But our commitment to making a difference extends further. By honoring our employees and their contributions, we fulfill our commitment to Pledge 1%.
Pledge 1% is a global movement encouraging corporate philanthropy by pledging to donate 1% of the company’s global net annual profit to the community. For each Recognition Award recipient, Vera donates to the social impact organization of their choice. It’s a meaningful way to celebrate individual achievements while giving back to the community.

Impact Awardee: Tonya Williams - Senior Global Marketing Manager (London)
Impact holds a special place as a value in Vera, as our core mission is to amplify the impact of the social sector through our work. Tonya was a brilliant flagbearer of this value last year!

Sustainability Awardee: Carmen Kingwill - Customer Success Manager (Gqeberha)
Sustainability at Vera encompasses not only environmental responsibility but also the long-term sustainability of our projects and the social impact sector. Carmen truly lived this value last year. Her colleagues know that Carmen is a superstar, she excels at weaving relationships and is extremely dedicated to her clients and her team.

Excellence Awardee: Rakesh Baravathaya - Senior Consultant (Mumbai)

Teamwork Awardee: Prathmesh Mengane - Lead Salesforce System Architect (Mumbai)
At Vera, we recognize that collaboration and shared knowledge amplify our impact. We want to collaborate and work in partnerships to achieve win-win wins. Prathmesh championed this value to win the teamwork award!

This final award is for the individual who has displayed brilliance in all 5 values and lived them every single day of the year! Caroline is a remarkable leader in the team, demonstrating excellence in all that she does, while also being kind, warm, and always ready to lend a hand. The impact she has been able to create has been massive and some of her projects will create long-term value for our clients and our teams.
