Last month on February 1, 2024, the Vera Success team hosted the Amp Impact 2024 Community Kickoff virtual event, where people from over 35 organizations across the globe gathered to connect, see what’s new and what’s coming for Amp Impact, and share their reflections and inputs on the growth of the product.

Libertas Release and Roadmap Preview:

After kicking off with an introduction to Vera’s Success team, we took attendees through an overview and demo of some of the key feature enhancements in the Amp Impact Libertas release (December ‘23), which introduced some important user experience and performance enhancements to Amp’s impact measurement and workplanning features.

Mira Release (May '24)

Next, we showed a sneak peek of what’s to come in the upcoming Mira release (May ‘24), including the introduction of a new numerator / denominator indicator data type. After demoing a prototype of the numerator / denominator indicator feature, we looked ahead to what’s currently on Amp Impact’s long-term strategic roadmap and set ourselves up for some breakout room discussions.

Interactive Breakout Rooms:

We broke out into smaller groups for an interactive exchange of ideas between peer organizations, who used the space to connect, to share insights into how they use Amp Impact, and to provide input into what features they wanted to see prioritized on the strategic roadmap. We were so thrilled to see the engagement in the groups and to help foster connections between peer organizations, and we’re excited to have such valuable roadmap inputs from this community of Amp Impact users.

Save the Children USA: A Case Study in Impact

A big highlight of the event was having representatives from Save the Children US present an overview of their journey implementing Amp Impact over the past year to support key program activities, including program planning and impact measurement as well as partner selection and grant management. They shared valuable learnings, successes, and challenges from the implementation (called “Impact Hub”), as well as what’s next for Save as they look to stabilize and grow the platform in the coming years.

Looking Ahead:

As we reflect on the Amp Impact Community Kickoff, we’re energized by the engagement we saw from so many organizations around the world who are using Amp Impact to manage their portfolios of grants and programs. We’re excited to continue to foster connections across the Amp Impact community, to learn from this incredible group of organizations and people, and to continue to innovate together – stay tuned for more virtual and in-person opportunities to connect in the year ahead!
