Amp Impact Mira: Numerator / Denominator Indicators, Record Locking, and Improved Data Loading for Targets and Results

Introducing Amp Impact Mira – named after a deep red star in the Cetus constellation. This latest release brings powerful improvements for Indicators, introducing the Numerator / Denominator data type that allows users to better track and manage percent and rate indicators. Mira also enhances data upload capacity on the setTargets LWC, empowering users to upload up to 4X more data. Additionally, Amp users can simplify the submission process for projects with the new Submit and Lock Wizard, which locks data once the data tables are submitted, enhancing data integrity of the system.

Mira comes after our Libertas Winter ’23 Release, in which we introduced improvements for the Add and Edit Indicator functionality in the ManageIndicators LWC. This improvement simplified navigation by showing fields based on an Indicator’s Data Type and Result Type. We also enhanced the comment popup for Targets and Results, so users can add useful context when setting Targets or reporting Results in the setTargets LWC and addResults LWC’s. Plus, Libertas introduced a series of updates to work better with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) objects.

New Features

Numerator/Denominator Data Type for Indicators

The Mira release introduces the Numerator/Denominator Data Type for Indicators, allowing reporting of numerators and denominators with automatic calculation of percentages or ratios, including across disaggregations.
A new Calculation Factor field allows users to define how the result should be calculated for an indicator (i.e. per 100, per 1,000, etc). This allows for flexibility needed by global health organizations in particular, who often manage rate indicators tracked per 1,000 or per 10,000.

Submit and Lock Data Tables

To simplify the submission process for Projects or Applications, Mira introduces a new Submit Wizard. The Wizard enables users to submit many components together at once. Once a user submits the record(s), they are locked to prevent further editing, allowing organizations to easily implement relevant review processes and maintain data integrity in the system. The Wizard is built using a Screen Flow, so a System Administrator can easily modify it to tailor it to their organization’s needs.

Users can also lock the following features in Amp Impact through ‘Locked’ checkboxes on the respective objects:

  • Frameworks
  • Indicators
  • Results
  • Targets
  • Implementation Plans
  • Submission Response Form (Narrative Reports)
  • Budget Download/ Upload

Feature Enhancements

Input total result for sex-disaggregated percentage Indicators on addResults LWC

Previously, users could not enter a total result for sex-disaggregated percentage indicators. However, with the latest enhancement in Mira, users can now capture percentage results at both the total and disaggregated levels. This enhancement provides users with more detailed and nuanced insights into their data.

Improved data load capacity on addResults LWC

With improvements to the data load capacity on the addResults Lightning Web Component (LWC), users can load data 2X faster.

Upload more data on setTargets LWC

The data upload capacity of the setTargets LWC has also been significantly improved, now allowing up to 4X more data to be uploaded using the Download/Upload feature. This performance improvement allows users to efficiently upload targets for multiple reporting periods simultaneously, streamlining the process, saving users time, and enhancing overall efficiency.
