THE ORGANIZATION
The Global Good Fund (GGF) is a nonprofit social enterprise that identifies high-potential leaders who stand to achieve greater social impact with executive mentorship, professional leadership coaching, and access to capital. Since 2013, the Global Good Fund Fellowship has developed 100+ entrepreneurs who are now accelerating their enterprise growth in more than 30 countries.
THE CHALLENGE
The Global Good Fund Fellowship is a 12-month program supporting the leadership development of social enterprise leaders across the globe. GGF sought a centralized system for fellow management and reporting activities, in which GGF could track and manage Goals, Metrics, Targets, Results, and Assessments related to their annual Flagship Program. By combining CRM, MEL, and fellowship management efforts on an integrated platform, GGF hoped to reduce pain points and increase efficiency in how the organization tracks and reports on targets and results for Fellows’ metrics over time.
THE SOLUTION
The Global Good Fund concurrently worked with another consulting partner, Prolocity, to build out the Salesforce CRM and fellowship application management portion of their system, which integrates directly with Amp Impact. A new “Fellow Community Portal” was built using Salesforce Community Cloud for GGF Fellows to directly report on their leadership development goals, report on baseline and final indicator results, and upload budget/expense reports. GGF staff review the fellows’ leadership development goals, indicator results, and budget/expense reports and provide feedback to fellows by leveraging the Salesforce Chatter Feed in the Fellow Community.
IMPACT METRICS & REPORTING
For Fellowship Statistics, GGF Fellows enter values for a Baseline Report and a Final Report . For Fellowship Reflection indicators, GGF Fellows only enter values for a Final Report because the qualitative indicators are meant to collect feedback about the entire fellowship.
